Aww yiss, mother fuckin' short hair.

I don’t dress to impress, I dress to de-stress. I dress for me and that’s how it should be.

Outfit 1.3 All Business
If you follow my personal blog, you’ll know that I just recently jumped back into the corporate world after a yearlong hiatus that involved working behind a deli counter and doing marketing for a pizza place. Let me tell you, I am HAPPY to be back in an office.
Being happy about having to dress up five days of the week though… Not so much. When I was pulling together clothes for this capsule, a big thing for me was making sure an item could do double duty between work and play. And this blazer is the epitome of that. It’s fancy enough that it brings all of my work outfits to that next level of “I really tried when I got up this morning,” but it’s still unique enough that I can throw it over a tshirt and not feel boring when I run errands on the weekend.
Anyway! I hope you like it. Most of my mid-week posts are gonna be more business-y, simply because that’s what I wear, Monday through Friday!
Blazer - J.Crew Blouse - LOFT Pants - LOFT (similar) Shoes - Banana Republic (similar) Watch - Michael Kors Ring - Got it in Bahrain!

WIWT: Well, I haven’t done one of these in ages. But I’m still alive and well, currently halfway through my surgery rotation.
Fun fact - if you wear a bow tie in the hospital, no less than 10 people per day will say something about it to you. 100% positive results.
